Laura came to Adecco Technical with over seven years
experience recruiting in the technology industry. After graduating
Cum Laude from Duke University, she started her career as an Executive
Recruiter in the Technology Group with Korn Ferry International
in San Francisco. From there, she supported the growth of numerous
start-ups in the Silicon Valley, often working hand-in-hand with
the founding partners and top local venture capital firms.
When moving to Hawaii in 1999, Laura was selected
as Manager of Technical Recruiting by the President of the largest
and fastest-growing technology company at the time, Adtech systems.
In her first eight months there, she successfully hired 120 highly
skilled engineers, many of which were Kama'aina given the opportunity
to return home from the mainland.
Now as Director or Recruiting with Adecco Technical
Hawaii, Laura again has the opportunity to support Hawaii's technology
sector and offer the breadth of her industry experience in placement
of technical professionals for a variety of clients. She thoroughly
understands the unique issues associated with the evolving technical
demands of the industry, as well as the challenges associated with
recruiting here in Hawaii.
Through her local and mainland network, Laura is continuously
searching out and meeting exceptional individuals that meet the
demanding needs of her clients. Her commitment to her clients and
strong work ethic has afforded her the reputation for finding not
only the right skill set but also isolating the intangibles that
create the right chemistry for both candidates and employers.
